Longer days, more grass than snow, Robins on the lawn... it must be spring!

Deadly heatwaves

Hundreds of elderly Americans die each year from excessive heat exposure. Obesity, heart disease, dehydration and certain medications increase the risk. Danger signs of heat stroke include nausea, dizziness, muscle cramps and moist, pale skin. Room fans, air conditioning, and cool sponge baths can help keep body temperatures down, and plenty of fluids should also be taken.
